We had a great showing of 27 riders, helped by a few enthusiastic local riders that had not competed with us before. The weather was unapologetically hot, as you’d expect, and the water station located between sections 2 & 3 was a popular hangout on every loop. The sections, set by Allen McConnell, were challenging, taking points from every rider except the man on the bike propelled by subatomic particles, Mike Peffer, who had a clean trial in Novice class. A big thanks goes to Allen McConnell and the DBSA club for putting on a great event.
